Sirius Petroleum confirms that, further to the announcement made on 14 September 2011, the 12,500,000 subscription shares have today been admitted to trading on AIM. With effect from today Sirius will have 754,226,330 ordinary shares in issue. Sirius does not hold any shares in treasury and therefore 754,226,330 may be used as the denominator for the calculation by which shareholders may determine if they are required to notify their interests in, or change their interest in, the share capital of the Company.
